W3 standard page is indeed a perfect page for getting better SEO results, increasing page rank and also traffic. There are different elements that are part of a perfect web page.

  • Title Element
  • META Description Tag
  • META Keywords Tag
  • Alt Attribute

Title Element is one of the most key factors that is responsible for your web page to increase the page rank, to be indexed and to get more and more traffic. Title element should be comprised of at least two words. These words should be relevant to your web page contents. If your web page is about SEO tools and tips then title should be “SEO Tools and Tips”. Title Element should be open and close correctly.

The Meta Description Tag as a rule comprises of 25 to 30 words .This description shows summary of your site. So be careful while typing these sentences. Use USA English language. Do not use special characters such as (Page Break, Space, Comma, Double Quotes etc). Use two keywords in Meta Description from body of the page. Use standard code of meta description.

Meta Keywords Tag is necessary for those search engines that crawl the Meta keywords too. These keywords should be 90% relevant to the web page contents. So many seo experts do not pay attention to this area. Don’t use keyword in this area that has already been used in Title Element Tag.

Alt Attribute is indeed the text you always glance on pop up especially in Internet Explorer while you place your cursor on an image. This text should be relevant to the picture and  should not be in meta keywords, meta description and in title element. Google prefers this attribute.
