All About AdWords and AdSense
Aug 7th
Everyone is scrambling for news about the new kids on the net – AdWords and AdSense that is. You’ve got to hand it to Google. They’ve really outdone themselves this time.
AdWords is Google’s pay-per-click advertising program. AdWords is similar to other pay-per-click advertising programs, but the other side of the coin, AdSense, makes it an incredibly powerful advertising program. I’ll get to that in a moment, for now let’s take a look at AdWords and how it works.
With AdWords, you can create your very own advertisements or you can have Google’s team design the advertising campaign for you. When you create AdWords advertisements, they appear on the internet right away. You have complete control of your budget as you only pay when your ad is clicked on and you can set your very own daily limits for what you are willing to pay. There is no minimum budget or locked in time that you have to run your campaign. You choose the keywords you want to target, so you get targeted traffic from your ads – people who are looking for specifically what you have to offer.
You can rely on Google for quick, friendly and knowledgeable support when you need it. Additionally, you can access performance reports that keep you informed on how well your advertising is doing so you can make changes as needed.
I know all that sounds pretty similar to other pay-per-click programs, but now let’s take a look at the other side.
AdSense…
AdSense adds a powerful punch to the AdWords program as well as giving website operators the ability to make money from their websites by displaying Google Ads (those from the AdWords program). So, as an AdWords advertiser, you’ve got an advantage in that website operators are providing high quality content to browsers and because of the keywords, your ads appear on their websites in clear view of individuals who are looking for your products or services.
As a website operator, you can choose keywords for the AdSense program that are relevant to the content you provide. The keywords will draw in relative advertisements to be displayed on your website, things that your browsers are interested in, which adds value to the information provided to your visitors. When your website visitors click on a Google Ad, you gain revenue from that click. Providing high quality, relative content is key to making money with AdSense.
AdWords and AdSense are win-win propositions for advertisers and website operators. Advertisers get targeted traffic to their websites at minimal costs and website operators make money for having the ads displayed on their websites. AdWords and AdSense are welcomed additions to the world of e-business and internet marketing.

10 Worst AdWords Campaign Management Mistakes

10 Worst AdWords Campaign Management Mistakes
On today’s highly competitive Google AdWords pay per click (PPC) search engine, it is now more important than ever to ensure that your PPC campaigns are optimized to their utmost potential. You should be achieving maximum return on investment (ROI) for the keywords or phrases that are most relevant to your business and are most likely to provide you with targeted traffic to your website. With ever growing cost-per-click (CPC) prices throughout the various PPC search engines it is essential that you avoid certain mistakes that will undoubtedly result in poorly performing PPC campaigns.
The Mistakes to Avoid
• Long list of less than targeted keywords
• Not identifying unique aspects of your product or service
• Lack of keywords in your ad text
• Directing users solely to your home page
• Creation of single Ad Groups
• Utilizing single campaigns
• Using broad match only
• Failure to optimize Ad Serving for your ads
• Not tracking results
• Entering the content network without modifying bids
Long List of Less Than Targeted Keywords
When you first set out to create your AdWords campaign it is of utmost importance that you do not go “keyword crazy”, what this means is that you must not create long lists of irrelevant and generic keywords. For example if you were an automotive dealership then it would not be in your best interest to target the keyword “truck”. The reason being is that the cost per click (CPC) for such a generic keyword would be incredibly high when compared to a more descriptive relevant keyword such as “T-Z783 Extended Cab”. An example of an irrelevant keyword which would not produce conversions if you strictly conducted automotive sales would be “tail light covers” the phrase may bring visitors to your website but if they do not find what they are looking for when they get there they will be gone just as quickly as they arrived.
Not Identifying Unique Aspects of Your Product or Service
Before implementing your AdWords campaign you must first understand exactly what it is that makes you stand out from your competition. By identifying your unique products or services you will have a lot more clarity on how to rise above your competitors and zone in on the keywords or phrases that are unique to your business. I would recommend that you perform an analysis of your competition, have a look and see what they are doing and which phrases they are using. After conducting a competition analysis and after understanding what makes your products or services unique you will be able to come up with a strategy that will topple your competitors.
Lack of Keywords in Your Ad Text
When creating your descriptive ad copy it is imperative that you find a means to inject your keywords in to your title and description while maintaining the delicate balance of clarity and relevance. Your ad copy should be tailored in such a way that when read by a visitor they know exactly what they are getting in to when they click on your ad, which brings me to my next point.
Directing Users Solely to Your Home Page
Taking the time to decide on which destination URL should be designated to which ad instead of pointing all ads in a campaign to your homepage is an oversight that I come across far too often. When you finish with compiling your list of relevant keywords that describe unique products or services of your business, why on earth would you then send everyone to your homepage and let them navigate through your site in hopes of finding what it is that they are looking for. Instead why not send them straight to the page that contains exactly what was described to them within your ad copy. As an example if you were an automotive dealership and your ad contains the keyword “T-Z783 Extended Cab” instead of sending them to www.auto-motive-dealership.com send them to www.auto-motive-dealership.com/T-Z783ExtendedCab.html.
Creation of Single Ad Groups
By categorizing ads that are targeting related keywords into a common ad-group will create a much higher level of control that you have over your entire campaign. Let’s say that you were a sporting goods store, start by grouping all ads targeted towards hockey skates into a single Ad Group. You would then create another ad-group which would be targeting hockey sticks and another containing hockey gloves and so on. By organizing your ad-group structure in this manner gives you the ability to create in-depth reports on the performance of each ad-group.
Utilizing Single Campaigns
Once you have your Ad Groups sorted out into easy to identify categories you may then move on to the next step of creating relevant campaigns. From the example above you have created Ad Groups containing separate products of hockey skates, sticks, gloves etc. Now it is time to create a container for all of the Ad Groups into one campaign entitled “hockey equipment”. You would then repeat the process creating Ad Groups for tennis, one group for shoes one for racquets etc and then once again you drop them all into a single campaign entitle “tennis equipment”. Having highly organized campaigns is the key to determine which ads are creating the optimal conversions.
Using Broad Match Only
When you do not take advantage of the phrase matching options that are available to you chances are you are missing out on potential customers and creating a higher CPC. Broad matches are usually less targeted than exact and phrase matching. Broad matching is the default option your ads will appear for expanded matches such as plurals or relevant keyword variations. When utilizing phrase match your ad will appear for search terms in the order that you specify and sometimes for other terms. Exact matching is by far the most targeted option to use. You will appear for the exact keyword specified. Negative keyword is also a fantastic option to utilize in order to specify which keywords you do not want to appear for.
Broad match
Default option:
• blue widget
Phrase match
Surround the keyword in quotes:
• “blue widget”
Exact match
Surround the keyword in square brackets:
• [blue widget]
Negative match
Place a negative character before the keyword:
• -blue widget
Failure To Optimize Ad Serving For Your Ads
When you take advantage of AdWords Ad Serving service basically what you will be doing is showing your most popular ads more often. The AdWords platform will give weight to ads with the highest click through rates (CTRs) and display them more often then keywords with lower (CTRs) within the same ad-group.
Not Tracking Results
In order to have any idea on your AdWords campaign performance you must be able to see the keywords that work as well as those that do not. Google AdWords supplies a vast array of very useful tracking tools. Google has also built in to the user interface Google Analytics which is a marvellous web analytics tool that provides you with in-depth reporting on all aspects of your campaign performance. I can not stress enough the importance of creating goals for your AdWords campaign to measure your success by.
Entering The Content Network Without Modifying Bids
Within the AdWords platform you have recently been given the ability to set different bids for the content network compared to that of the search network. If you do not set different bids on the content network for certain keywords, you will be paying more per click than you should be. After lowering the prices on certain keywords you will notice that the amount of click throughs that you will be attaining will remain the same as they were at the higher bid.
Conclusion
The purpose for this article was to create awareness for common mistakes and to eliminate frustrations that may emerge through Google AdWords campaign management. The points mentioned above are compiled from management mistakes that I have stumbled upon time and time again in hopes to assist you in creating a marketing campaign that will generate dramatic increases to the profits of your business.

Make Money Online With Google AdWordsby Bing Zou
More and more people in today’s world use the Internet as a tool to get or sell product, service or information.
The trend is that most of those users use keywords search, not directories or categories. Google holds the half market of keywords search.
Meanwhile, PPC (pay per click) campaign has hit the web like a storm. Pay per click campaign attracts much more interest from both advertisers and webmasters.
Keywords or key phrases are terms that a possible client would use to find your product or service. Keywords research is a continuous never-ending process that can help increase traffic and attract targeted visitors.
The best answer for PPC campaign to promote your products (including affiliate programs) is Google AdWords. To select your affiliate programs, the easiest way is to sign up to ClickBank, Commission Junction and LinkShare.
Google has leveraged their market share as the internet’s top search engine to deliver their version of the pay per click advertising model. Sign up for the AdWords program is free and they only require a $5 USD deposit before they will start to display your ad. It’s easy to run and control.
Google’s AdWords service has brought success to many businesses by providing them with a large amount of highly targeted traffic from as little as 1 cents per visitor. However, there is probably an equal number of webmasters who have paid for AdWords and seen little benefit or have indeed made substantial losses. If the latter applies to you, then the following may be useful to you.
The problem with Google AdWords is that it has become very difficult to find keywords at a reasonable price. Bidding on keywords like “make money online” or something in that range will kill your advertising budget in no time.
In my personal experience, it seems that a good market will be between 40,000 to 100,000 searches for that particular month. Less than that may be a weak market, and more than that could be too competitive. To find out for sure, you can use the Overture bidding tool for a particular word or phrase, and look at the third bid, it should be at least .30 up to $2.00. Again, less than .30 could be weak and more than $2.00 could be too competitive. You know, Overture is similar to Google AdWords, just it shows you the bid list.
For keywords selection, the best one is Ad Word Analyzer 3.0. You can “Discover the Quick and Easy Way to Drive Massive Amounts of Laser-Targeted Traffic to Your Site Today”. Please pay more attention on Targeted Traffic. I want to say “only targeted traffic will soar your sale”.
It seemed not very difficult to make profit online with Google AdWords: just join an affiliate program, promote it on Google Adwords and get commissions.
However, you have to learn more about Google AdWords for your living. But the more you learn, the more you will make. I believe it is your new lifestyle to make money online with Google AdWords.

3 Powerful Tips to Skyrocket your Affiliate Marketing Income With Adwords!
Jul 29th
Affiliate marketing and adwords is by far the quickest way to make money on the Internet. However, before you decide to dive into pay per click advertising (PPC), you need to learn essential tips and tricks, otherwise, you will lose a lot of money.
To get the most from your adwords campaigns, you need to learn how to use Google Adwords tools efficiently. Invest in your education and you will be rewarded. You will be well on your way to make a nice affiliate revenue through adwords.
Follow these Google adwords tips, and get lower cost per click for a higher affiliate revenue…
1) Always choose high profit margin products.
Before Setting up your adwords campaign, you must know that affiliate marketers can easily lose money compared to the merchant who is selling his own products. If the affiliate commission is to low, it will be difficult to break even.
Try to choose affiliate programs that pay more than $75 per sale. Like that, you will have room to test the market and tweak your landing pages… and still win money.
2) Choose recurring commissions affiliate programs.
Adwords is a tough game, and you need money to make money. What you want to do is to turn one dollar into two dollars. You can do better than that when you promote membership site and web hosting companies.
Your affiliate commissions will come each and every month while you are entering new market and testing new campaigns.
3) De-activate “Content Network”.
When you start a new campaign, be sure to de-activate content network. Those contextual advertising ads displaying on adsense sites are often a waste of money.
While those adsense publishers are getting more and more clicks on their ads (they earn a nice CPC income doing this!), those clicks doesn’t convert to sales in most of the cases. In fact, “content network” is good for merchants since they get branding from their affiliates for their company and products.
4) Never target the first spot!.
It has been proved that the fourth or fifth spot are more profitables. While you get less click at the fourth position, your adwords campaign’s ROI (return on investment) will be higher than the ad in the first position.
Why? Because many of the surfers are searching for information, and they will click on several paid ads before making their choice.
When they click down (fourth position), they already saw the competition, and at this point, they have an idea of what they want. They are more likely to buy through your affiliate links.
Affiliate marketing and adwords can be very lucrative when you know how to play the pay per click advertising game. It is one of the main weapon of super affiliates, and if you follow those adwords advices.

After seeing the title next question that comes into your mind – How is it going to help in improving my internet business? As the name suggests we are concentrating on means to use GOOGLE in getting sales, profits and money online.

You and I are aware that it is not easy for any website to appear on the first page of the results without “Search Engine Optimization”. Google uses its own “ALGORITHM” to list websites based on various factors like relevance, links and so on.

All you have to do is use some of the tricks mentioned in my free report titled “GOOGLE ADWORDS”. (You can download your copy from the link below.)

OK guys, lets get moving.
First of, what exactly is the Dynamic Keyword Insertion tool?
Well, it is basically a way in which Google allows to insert the search query in to your ad. OK, let me explain in a bit more detail.
If a user enters ‘Guitar Lessons’ in to the Google search bar, then Google will display ads that are relevant to the search query ‘Guitar lesson’. This is know known as a query string / Keyword or Keyphrase.
Now, here where the Dynamic Keyword Insertion tool comes in. Lets say that your ad headline reads ‘Guitar Training’, but the search query is ‘Guitar Lessons’. What we can do is have Google replace our ‘Guitar Training’ with the search query ‘Guitar lessons’.
Make sense so far?
This is called ‘Dynamic Keyword Insertion’, as it simply dynamically inserts the search query into our ad. The most common use for the Dynamic Keyword Insertion is in the Adwords ads headline. But you can use it where ever you want.
Why Would I Want To Use It?
Simple, you want your ad to appear as highly relevant to the users search as possible, and the easiest way to do this is to use the Adwords Secrets tool – Dynamic Keyword Insertion.
Think about it like this, the more closely your ad matches the search query, the more likely it is that the user will click on your ad.
To use the Dynamic Keyword Insertion tool is a very simple process. Lets take a look below:
{keyword: Default_text}
This simple looking piece of code is all that you have to do.
– The {} curly brackets contain the action, so you must place the text inside of them.
keyword, This tells Google to insert the search query here.
Default_text, This is simple the text that you want to use IF, the search query is to long.
For example:
Search query = ‘Free Guitar Video Lessons’
This would be to many characters for your ads headline. So, Google will place your default text there instead.
Here are a few other ways to user the Adwords Secrets – Dynamic Keyword Insertion tool.
• If you want the dynamic text to be all lower case, use {keyword:Default_text}.
• If you want the dynamic text to start with the first letter of the first word capitalized, use {Keyword:Default_text}.
• If you want the dynamic text to have the first letter in caps for each word, use {KeyWord:Default_text}.
• If you want the dynamic text to have the first word to all be in caps, use {KEYword:Default_text}.
• If you want the dynamic text to have the first word to all be in caps and the other words to start with the first letter in caps, use {KEYWord:Default_text}.
• If you want the dynamic text to all be in caps, use {KEYWORD:Default_text}
As you can see, there are lots of different variation that you can use when using Adwords Secrets – Dynamic Keyword Insertion tool. The one I use the most is: {KeyWord: default_text}, Simple because I want the first letter of each word to be Capitalized.
Ok, so there you have it, an way to increase your click through rate. It couldn’t be more simpler. Just remember that you can also use it in the body line 1 and 2. Just get creative and watch you click through rates saw.
Note: This really is one of those Adwords Secrets that you really should not miss out on. So go and have some fun with it.

Tracking Adwords For Maximum Revenue
Jul 23rd
Google Adwords is one of the best advertising system that has come our way in quite some time. It is an almost guaranteed way to end up on the front page of Google for practically any keyword that you desire. As long as you’re willing to pay the costs that are involved, you can get instant targeted traffic to your website in almost no time at all. By making sure that you are profitable in doing so, you can continue to pay for this traffic indefinitely and enjoy the rewards that the system has to offer.
Just because your Google Adwords campaign is profitable, however, does not necessarily mean that it is as profitable as possible. There are a lot of different things that you can do within the AdWords system in order to make sure that you are making more money with the existing ads that you are using. For example, you may be able to change the text within the ad in order to make it more appealing and to target the group you’re after a little more specifically. You may also be able to improve your landing pages and this will not only lower the cost per click that you are paying, it will push you up through the AdWords system as a result of offering quality to your visitors.
Something else that is a must, however, in order for you to make sure that your AdWords campaigns are as profitable as possible is that you are going to have to do some testing. There are a number of different ways that you can do this testing but if you tend to run a lot of Google Adword ads at one time, you need to make sure that you are doing it as simply as possible. The last thing that you would want to do is to have to make up thousands of pages and generate unique URLs by hand for each of your keywords. There is software that is available which can do this automatically and will also keep track of where your traffic is coming from.
It won’t take much to you to begin to realize that some of the keywords that you are using are going to be where alot of your profitable traffic is coming from. You would probably be surprised to find out that some of the keywords that you thought were perfect are actually not producing at all. As soon as you begin cutting the fat out of your AdWords account, you will recognize that your profits will go through the roof. I’ve seen campaigns where I was able to cut out over half of my keywords and save a substantial amount of money without reducing the amount of sales I was receiving at all.
Finally, you will also be able to recognize any negative keywords that need to be added to your campaign. By having a good tracking software on your website, you will see the exact phrases that people are using in order to find your website. Take a look at some of the keywords within the phrases and if you recognize that some people are looking for something for free, you can easily cut this out of your campaign with negative keywords.
In order to be successful at marketing your Adwords campaign, you need to make sure that you are testing as much as possible. The more you are able to trim your account without affecting the amount of sales that you make, the more profitable you will become.
There are easier ways to get Traffic to your website… let me show you how to increase website traffic for free

As we attempt to start a business making money online and working from home, we use the most reputable services available, when at all possible. We read all the promotion and how others are so successful using Google and various forms of Internet marketing. But, if you don’t have enough knowledge of the tools, there can be costly learning curve.
Pay Per Click advertising is a dangerous game for those starting out, and even seasoned PPCers often pay far more for their advertising than they need to. If you need to generate quick sales or this is always an avenue for affiliate marketing. But, if you are not familiar with how to use the program and utilize the available features, this can be an expensive lesson. I started out using Google Adwords for an affiliate promotion that I felt I could make some quick income from, and spent much more than I made.
It was a very expensive lesson. I later came back with another affiliate campaign and did my homework. I used the Google Adwords Tool and selected the best possible less competitive and less costly keywords (phrases); and again lost money on this venture.
Programs Claim They Conquer Google
Since 1998, Google has grown from a two-man operation to what is arguably the largest and currently most popular search engine on the Internet. Most agree that Google garners more than 50% of all search traffic, with some estimates as high as 80%. It is the largest pay per click network and garners millions everyday from webmasters and marketers seeking a successful business making money online .
There are several programs that claim to have conquered Google Adwords and they want to share with you how they succeeded. The bottom line, they essentially tell you how to select keywords and which ones are best to bid to avoid the Big Dogs. They advise you to not bid one common phrases and “bottom fish” for lesser used words. This makes some sense, but are these the words or phrases being used enough to provide you with the numbers to make a profit?
The Big Dogs experiencing the success fail to mention they spent thousands of dollars and many hours of trial and error before they had any success! Yes, they spent thousands trying to start a profitable business online. They also fail to give the details or steps to their success, it is usually very vague. They omit use of Content searches which are less expensive and where I got best results. Then there are different niches, different keywords and more trouble than they have addressed. We leave those experiences out of the dollars we could have used to generate needed traffic to our sites.
NothingTo Brag About
For most of us, our first Google Adwords experience is usually one that we do not brag about. The concept of creating ads and bidding on keywords seems rather simple, but the reality of Google and its Adwords program is anything but trivial. Problems that most of us face at the beginning include (but are not limited to):
• Minimum Bid Prices TOO high
• Not enough impressions
• Not enough clicks
• Poor Click Thru Rate (CTR)
• Clicks but no sales
• Disapproved Ads
If you have experienced any (if not all of these things), you are not alone. In fact, most novices trying to understand Google Adwords experience these issues regularly. I, again, painfully remember quite well my first experiences using Google’s Pay-Per-Click program and the memory is not pretty. As time went on, the position of my ads started to drop as the minimum bid prices began to rise. It was a downward spiral. What I thought then was what if I could sit in a room with a top marketer, look over their shoulder and observe exactly how they approach setting up an ad campaign on Google.
What If You Could See The Big Dogs Details
If it were possible to look at the Big Dogs keywords and phrases. Watch how they establish minimum and maximum bids. Observe them actually developing the ads that bring in the dollars that make them “Big Dogs.” Well, I reviewed a NEW software product that provides many of the options we all relish.
I want to tell you about a brand new keyword research tool that will allow you to view any webmaster’s Adwords keyword list. You’ll be able to see the keywords that any Adwords advertiser is bidding on! Plus, you’ll be able to see a ton of other extremely valuable information.
The software is free version of the software available now, but will likely not be free forever. They’re testing the market and want your feedback. Visit the link below for a copy of this brand new, free, software before it’s too late.
George L. Johnson is the owner of http://www.Affiliate-Secret-Weapons.com and reviews popular home business ideas and opportunities. Anyway, I highly suggest that you go and download the tool while it’s still free, because I am guessing it won’t be free for long. You can get it here: => PPC Web Spy- Download!
