When a potential client legitimates your business, learns about your business and feels comfortable with building a business relationship with you, and discovers and approves the quality of your product/service, they will seek to contact you to initiate doing business with you. It is very important to provide various ways to contact you for the convenience of the client and to make sure you overcome any obstacles that may be encountered. Well as you know every website must have a Contact Us webpage. This page has:
1. Physical address of your business – A website is used to do virtual business but traditional brick-and-mortar businesses can benefit from a website by attacting customers to their place of business. On the other hand, individuals who work from home would probably not want to put their physical address or personal info on the internet.
2. Mailing Address – if your mailing address is different from your physical address, you would want to make that available. Also, if you do not post a physical address, it would be advisable to post a mailing address such as a post office box or “suite” address from your local mailing company (like the UPS store). You must differentiate this address from your physical address by labeling it “Mailing Address” so the customer knows they can’t visit that address to see you.
3. Directions to your establishment – If you have a traditional brick-and-mortar business, you will want to include directions for the convenience of your customer.
4. Map – Whenever you can include a graphic or image it is advisable. It makes the webpage so much more attractive. For those who work from home, generate a map that shows the general area you work in and not your exact location.
5. Other ways to contact you such as
a. Email addresses (maybe an email address to various staff members or different departments). A good webmaster can use email addresses to make your business appear much larger than it really is.
b. Phone numbers should be made available also. If you are working from home, you will not want to post your personal information; however, it is highly recommended to include at least a phone number (a toll-free number can be obtained as cheaply as $1.95/mo). This toll-free number can call and find you wherever you are. That way you don’t have to broadcast your personal phone number and still receive business calls.
c. Contact form are a must-have. They allow potential clients to readily and easily contact you without leaving the website. By making this available, you capture information on potential clients you can market to later. Remember, everyone that surfs your site will not become a customer. By capturing their info, you can later convert a non-sale to a sell.
Bottom-line: Your customer wants to do business with someone they feel they can build a relationship with. They want to be assured they will receive a certain level of service or certain quality of product. The customer wants some reassurance that they will get the perceived value of what they paid for. Also keep in mind the higher the quality of your website, the higher the quality of the customer you will attract and retain. A high quality customer will not go to a low quality website and do business.

Home Internet Marketing Business ABCs
At the present, internet marketing or online marketing has successfully evolved to a higher stage which now involves a combination of many components a business can utilize to increase sales regardless whether the said business is being executed fully online, partly online, or fully offline. Internet marketing is fully discretionary and it can’t be fully said that it is strictly needed for success but its recent popularity has caused those who don’t use it get left behind by those who do.

Marketing communication functions within a marketing framework. Traditionally known as the promotional element of the four Ps of marketing (product, place, price, and promotion), the primary goal of marketing communication is to reach a defined audience to affect its behavior by informing, persuading, and reminding. Marketing communication acquires new customers for brands by building awareness and encouraging trial. Marketing communication also maintains a brand’s current customer base.
