Google AdWords Marketing Explained
Sep 6th
Simply by using Google AdWords marketing to promote a product or service you can make some easy affiliate money; Google also allows you to bid on selected keywords which when submitted to Google will initiate the display of the appropriate advert on the right hand side of the page. The relative ad position depends on the amount of money you pay when a visitor clicks on the keyword you are bidding on couple with the level of your daily ad budget. Google AdWords marketing will also perform a quality score calculation. In short, the more that you pay to Google per keyword click, coupled with a high daily budget value for your AdWords campaign, the higher up your ad will appear. It is quite possible for someone with a higher quality score value to achieve a superior ad position yet still pay less per click than others.
In answer to the obvious question, the Google AdWords quality score is a means of determining the all important click through rate. A percentage based calculation the click through rate calculates exactly how many clicks your ad has received cross checked against how frequently the ad has been displayed; it is therefore in your own interest to make your ad as interesting as possible to encourage a higher click through rate.
The quality of your landing page also forms part of the Google quality score calculation; this is the page visitors will see once they click on your ad. The greater the relevance this page has to the keyword bid the better, little connection with the keyword you choose to bid on will provide you with a low score in this area therefore contributing less to your quality score.
Also, while using Google AdWords marketing, Google will also factor the suitability of your ad in relation to the search as part of your quality score. If your ad displays significant relevance to the search terms specified it will gain a high score and contribute considerably to the overall formula and improve your quality score. A low relevance rating to the search terms employed will lower the values in this part of the formula and also your quality score.
Getting used to Google AdWords marketing can be difficult; there are many factors they take into consideration without explanation and it is recommended that you become familiar with the various tips and tactics before you run any type of AdWords campaign. Using the right low cost software to locate profitable keywords is worth consideration

How to Make Money Online With Google Adwords?
Sep 5th
We all heard about making money online. The question is how do you rely start making money online today. I am going to share with you on how you can start making money online without having a website, not knowing anything about web design, and not spending much money. That is right you do not have to have any knowledge of HTML code. All you have to know is how to type. There are hundreds of courses on the internet charging you hundreds of dollar for the information I am about to share with you. Do not spend any money on any online marketing tools until you read this.
The one way to take advantage of Google AdWords is to become affiliate. Affiliate marketing is where someone advertises for another website and in return that person receives commission for each sale their advertising brigs to that website. Here’s an example: Let’s say I want to sell Laptop Computers, but I don’t have a website and/or I don’t have any computers to sell. Well instead of starting a company, I can just find a company online which already sells computers and offers an affiliate program. Now that I have searched and found a company, I look at what they offer. Let’s say they are giving 10% commission on every sale I make. I decide to use that company and I set up my affiliate account with them and they give me a special URL (a web address that will let the company know that it was my advertising which gave them the sale), which I use in my advertisements. Now I make ad advertisement, and display it on Google. Whenever someone sees and clicks on my advertisement it will go to the company’s webpage. Let’s say that one hundred people clicked on my text advertisement and one of them buys a computer that cost $1,200. Because that person who bought the computer clicked on my advertisement that company will give me 10% of $1,200 which means that I made $120.00
Most online companies offer affiliate program. Companies like Best Buy, Circuit City, Office Max, Amazon.com, Buy.com and many more, literally tens of thousands. There are also companies online which all they do is offer other online business a way to have an affiliate program. These affiliate Companies manage affiliate programs for thousands of online companies. This means that if you have an account with Affiliate Company (they are completely free), you can advertise for any of the thousands of companies that use them to manage their affiliate sales. If you want to, you can search Google for affiliate programs just to see how big online marketing currently is.
By using AdWords and high paying affiliate program you can start earning money today. The AdWords advertisements are Pay Per Click (PPC), which means that the owner of that advertisement pays Google every time someone clicks on their advertisement. The main reason for wanting to pay for traffic is because it is very very difficult to receive free traffic on Google. When you sign up for Google AdWords Pay Per Click advertising your advertisement will be displayed almost immediately in Google’s search results (usually within 5 minutes). You can also decide which page you want your advertisements to be displayed on ( the first page receives more visitors than the other pages).
It is very simple to start Google AdWords account. Go to www.google.com and look toward the bottom of the page. You will see a link says “Advertising Programs”. Once you there, you should click on the link which says Google AdWords. After clicking “Click to Begin”, you will be taken to a couple of pages which will ask you how you want to set up your advertising group(s) with Google. Google will send you an email to the email address you specified which will contain a URL that you will need to go to in order to activate your account. After you go to that URL you can log into Google AdWords using your email address as your user name. Now that you have an account set up, you are ready to learn how to create a Campaign so you can begin making money online.
Here is how to create a AdWords campaign in Google. First off to create a new keyword campaign, click the link” Keyword-Targeted” campaign. You will be prompted to name your campaign. Your campaign name is what will be displayed on the first screen when you log into your Google AdWords account. Since you will most likely have several campaigns, when you name your campaign you will want to make sure it is unique name that will let you know exactly what you are advertising in that campaign. Next you will need to name your AdGroup. Remember, you will have several different AdGroups with one Campaign, so name it something that will help you know exactly what keywords are in that AdGroup. Next, you should choose the area(s) where you want your ads to appear. There are three different ways to choose where you want to advertise. You can choose to advertise by Countries and Territories, Regions and Cities, or Customized.
The most important thing you need in order to have a successful Google campaign is a text ad with a high CTR. Text Ads with a high CTR will increase your Quality Score which will increase your overall position.
Things You Should Know:
1. You are not required to have “http:” or “www” in your display URL.
2. Google will not let you capitalize all the letters in all your words, but they
will let you capitalize most of your words.
3. The website must not require additional software to load (example: it
cannot be a .pdf instead of .htm).
4. Back button must be able to go back to Google with one click.
5. You can’t have websites that mirror other websites that are advertised for
the same keyword (example: having the same pictures and text but using
a different web address). I know many affiliates do this, but I don’t know
how much Google enforces this rule.
6. The website you are advertising cannot have a pop up or pup under ad.
Another key to having a successful online business is making sure that every single person who is even the slightest bit interested in your product sees your advertisement. The best way to do this is by creating a very huge keyword list (thousands of keywords). Some products have many keywords, while others have very few. Usually the more keywords there are available for the product, the better. Not because it is searched more often, but also because most people who are also selling the same product will only select a few general keywords which may be very broad keywords.
When you bid on Google, you will not always pay the price you enter. The price you enter is the MCPC (Maximum Cost Per Click) you are willing to pay for that keyword. Google constantly updating the bids for the keywords in their search engine. For example if your MCPC is $0.15 and the advertiser in front of you is bidding $0.16 and the Ad one position behind you is bidding $0.05, you will only pay $0.06 per click, because there is no reason why you should have to pay $0.15 per click if you can get the same Ad position for $0.06 per click.
Google is a most searched search engine on the internet and with that they are consistently making update and improvement. If you are really serious about making money online or promotion you current business I will make a recommendation that will make you an absolute pro on AdWords. I’ve spend thousands trying to research best possible ways to market in the internet.

Google Adsense Your Way to the Bank
Sep 4th
Google AdSense is an ad serving program run by Google. The ads are similar to those that you see on the right-hand side of Google’s search engine results. Adsense income is one of the favorite ways to profit of webmasters for passive income. It works best with lots and lots of traffic. Many websites use AdSense to monetize their content. Adsense gurus make their fortune by creating multiple websites.
Some webmasters invest significant effort into maximizing their own AdSense income. They build valuable content on their websites that attracts AdSense advertisements, which pay out the most when they are clicked. The source of all AdSense income is the AdWords program, which in turn has a complex pricing model based on a Vickrey second price auction.
There is some real science that has gone into these designs so that the ad placements, ad colors, ad formats, and even the placement of content on the webpages is in the most profit-pulling areas that have been proven to increase click-throughs on your AdSense ads. You simply place quality content on your website and get paid by Google every time someone clicks on the adverts that they place on your site.
Content
Google uses its Internet search technology to serve advertisements based on website content, the user’s geographical location, and other factors. Websites that are content-rich have been very successful with this advertising program, as noted in a number of publisher case studies on the AdSense website. They use text content on their websites that encourages visitors to click on advertisements.
After you’ve found the target niche market and high value keywords, you can build your AdSense site by creating quality content around these keywords. You can create unique, quality and keyword rich content that is related to those products and services in your targeted niche market. Fill each of your webpages with content the search engines will love.
Keep your webpages fresh with unique content by placing several rotating RSS feeds to ensure that all pages are unique and highly related to the topic. Having these RSS feeds will make your pages unique to the search engines and you shouldn’t get penalized for duplicate content. Since the content on your web site is targeted on high-paying keywords, the AdSense ads on your new site are likely to be linked to these keywords.
Money
The idea of sitting in your underpants writing about something you enjoy and making money at it certainly is an attractive one. Even though this industry is one of the few where one can write their own check in terms of earnings, there is no guarantee that you will earn any money using the techniques and ideas in these materials. It’s a method that can get you earning money by the end of the day today, at the latest. You may take action, do things right andmake money. I generated my first little “money machine” as I like to call them within 2 days. The internet makes this possible, you can make money 24 hours a day even while you are sleeping.
Adsense Income
To me, adsense income seems analogous to income derived from renting an apartment, or income from a billboard, neither of which seems synonymous with self-employment. I woulden’t class Adsense income on it’s own as self employment. During your spare time, you create a Web site that earns $10,000 in revenue from AdSense, affiliate sales, or whatever.
Believe it or not, I thought it was a complete waste of my time to mess with AdSense, affiliate programs, and niche sites. Like most of the “AdSense forum bashers”, I just wasn’t doing it right. It wasn’t long until I learned that if I was going to create multiple niche sites to bring in AdSense revenue and other sources of cash, I was going to have to change my strategies. When I hear forum gossip about niche AdSense website creation being difficult and time consuming, I just get annoyed because I know it’s NOT true.
When I hear forum gossip about niche AdSense website creation being difficult and time consuming, I just get annoyed because I know it’s NOT true. So that’s why I’ve decided to just give away my custom built, niche Adsense website creation software for FREE.

There is a nominal charge to take the Google Adwords examination. However, most people who have gone through the certification process deem it a worthwhile investment.

Therefore, the reality is that this type of certification really is proving to be a selling point for people who are interested in gaining a clientele interested in Google Adwords development and related services.
Yahoo Ambassador Program
The Yahoo Ambassador program is really very similar to the Google Adwords program discussed a moment ago. Once again, a person seeking this certification will be trained in how to utilize the various tools that are made available through Yahoo in regard to that search engine’s own pay per click program.
In the Yahoo Ambassador program you will take an examination (for which you will have to pay a nominal fee). At the present time, the Yahoo Ambassador program is not as well established or as well known as the comparable program offered through Google Adwords. However, with that noted, many professionals are opting for both certifications to make them all the more attractive to their own potential clients or customers.

The Google Adwords Keyword Tool
Sep 2nd
If you want to run an effective Google Adwords campaign, you’ll find it necessary to learn to use the Google Adwords keyword tool. This handy little tool allows you to select keywords and establish how much you are willing to pay per click for ads that appear on web pages and search engine results pages that contain the identified keywords.
Choosing the right keywords is very important to your success in operating an Adwords campaign. You want to reach an audience that is likely to want and need your product or service so that, once they arrive at your website, they will convert to a sale or lead. Having people click on your ad does nothing but cost you money unless you maintain a high conversion rate.
When choosing the keyword or keywords that you want to target, keep in mind the keywords that your website is based upon. Those are, at least in part, the keywords you will want to select for advertising. However, you may have keywords on your website that are much broader than those that you want to use for your Adwords campaign. Whereas a person selling classic car parts online might use “auto parts” as a keyword on their website, it would certainly be a very bad choice for an Adword keyword. Driving traffic that are seeking auto parts for late model cars will simply leave the website as soon as they see what is offered and, since you choose the keyword, the click would still cost you money. Instead, focus on keywords that are very directly related to what you offer such as, in the case here, “classic car parts”, for example. That way, only those people searching for and visiting websites related to classic cars and parts for those cars will see your Adwords campaign.
The Google Adwords keyword tool allows you to add and remove keywords at any time you choose. You aren’t tied to using keywords that aren’t working for you for any specific length of time. If you find a keyword you have selected is working very poorly, go to the keyword tool and remove that keyword from your campaign. You might replace it with a better keyword, or simply drop the keyword and not replace it at all.
The greatest thing about Google Adwords is the flexibility. You can change anything about your campaign at any time you want. Keywords that prove effective can be changed to a higher price per click while those that offer little traffic can be changed or removed. Find keywords that drive traffic that converts and stick with those keywords.
A great alternative , even better than the google adwords tool is the new keyword elite which has more options and will give you the exact adwords pricing for each keyword and per search engine as well as competition, adsense high paying keywords and so on.

Fear of Google in Link Building
Sep 1st
The very common issue I noticed in Link Building is the fear that site can be penalized by Google for unethical link building. But the thing is that who will decide the tactics you are following are ethical or not. This is where you need to implement your common sense when building links for your site.
Let’s take it like this- You come across a technique and discuss whether it’s “ethical or unethical”. However, somewhere in your mind you are thinking that implementing this technique can help you to get traffic. Think again and again- if still you feel it can be beneficial for your site, don’t worry about being penalized.
Why am I assuring you? I have a reason. Google is not the only search engine as there are many more in competition. People always talk about Google because it’s a major one but not all-in-all. Being a supreme, Google will never do anything which can down their reputation in the market. But yes, you should care about the quality of work you are doing, not about Google.
For instance 1: You have a site related to SEO services and you exchange link with a game site or adult site which makes no sense for you or your site pointing to sites like this. Then this could be a reason that Google devalue your link.
For instance 2: When people buy links from thematic and quality sites, there is no reason to get penalized. Getting paid links from link broker and non thematic site can’t help you in any way- neither in increasing ranking nor traffic. In such cases also Google can’t give value to your link.
Being penalized for anything is different from being devalued. Google knows it very well that webmaster’s use number of techniques to rank high and there is no certain rule through which a site can get ranked. So they never penalize you until and unless you are doing something bad, illegal, immoral.
Everyone has their own methods and style in which they are comfortable, but not everything works out the way we hope especially in SEO. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Hence, Without Google’s fear opt the techniques which you feel would really be and experience the result.

How to be Successful With Google Adwords
Sep 1st
Are you thinking of using Google Adwords for the first time or have you recently tried it and gave up because you didn’t get the results you had hoped for?
There are many people who give up using Google Adwords because they are not getting the traffic they wanted or it’s costing them more money that they can afford or both!
A lot of people think that to be successful with Google Adwords you either have to be lucky or practicing some black art.
However the good news is that Google Adwords does work and you can make it work for you. By simply following the following steps, you will have a well performing Google Adwords campaign which will bring the right type of visitors to your website.
Many advertisers do not follow these basic rules and they get there advertising all wrong. So just by making sure you follow these basic steps you will already be ahead of your competition.
Understand the link between keywords, your ads and your website.
This is the golden rule for Adwords.
Google is all about relevancy.
Google wants to be sure that when one of its customers searches for something that they find websites that are relevant to that search. So you need to make sure that your list of keywords in your adgroup work well with the ads you have set for that adgroup AND that the page you send visitors to when they click on you ad also has relevancy to the list of keywords.
Keep this rule at the front of your mind when you set up your campaigns.
Avoid Broad Searches
When you set up your keywords for Google Adwords, the default setting is Broad Match.
What this means is that Google will match your keywords against a search if your words are present in the search regardless of the order of the words, whether they appear together, are plurals, etc.
As an example if you use the term used shoes as a broad match then the following searches in Google would match to your keywords
used shoes
used shoes shop
used horse shoes
shoes used in modern dance
new and not used shoes
As you can see this can give quite a few matches that may not be relevant to your website.
You should avoid broad searches and target you keywords with phrased and exact matches.
A phrased match is one where the keywords will only match if they are used in the exact sequence of your keyword. You enter a phrased keyword by putting quotes “” around your keyword.
So for our example, if I used “used shoes” then
used shoes
used shoes shop
would match but
used horse shoes
shoes used in modern dance
new and not used shoes
would not.
An exact match is one where the keywords will match only if that exact phrase is entered and no other words are used for the search. You enter an exact keyword by putting a square bracket [] around your keyword.
So for our example, if I used [used shoes] then
used shoes
would match but
used shoes shop
used horse shoes
shoes used in modern dance
new and not used shoes
would not.
Avoid using the Content network.
You can set up your campaigns so that you ads appear on both Google’s search network and its content network.
The content network consists of websites that allow Google ads to appear.
I recommend turning off the content option when you set up your campaign because you ad may not always appear on websites that a very relevant to the ad you are running.
Only advertise to locations that it makes sense to.
When you set up your campaigns you can select which countries you want your adverts to appear to. So for example, if you sell a product in the USA that you would not ship outside then there is little point for your ad to appear to people in Europe or China for example.
Pick the times you want your adverts to appear
You can select what time of day you want your ads to appear. So if you are trying to advertise to UK buyers who are surfing during the evening, then those are the times you should be setting your ads to appear.
Organise your ad groups and campaigns
One campaign with one adgroup and one massive list of keywords is doomed. This is the one single mistake that many first time users of Google Adwords make.
Before you start using Adwords, I strongly recommend you sit down with pen and paper to plan out your campaign and adgroup structure.
What works best does tend to vary based on what you are trying to sell. However as a guide for each campaign you should aim for no more than four or five adgroups each with ten to twenty good keywords. This will give you a set of campaigns which are easy to maintain and the keywords in each adgroup can be targeted effectively.
This is only a guideline though. I’ve actually had an adgroup with only one keyword and it performed wonderfully.
Use Landing Pages
So many people make the serious mistake of sending their visitors to their home page when they click on their ads.
You really want to send then directly to the page that is relevant to the ad you are running.
So for example, if you have an online clothes shop then for any adverts you are running for men’s gloves, you really want to send them directly to the page for men’s gloves.
So, don’t use your home page unless it makes sense. Send your visitors to land on a page that is relevant to the advert they clicked on. If you don’t have a page that is relevant to the advert, then why are you running that advert!
Use more that one Advert and TEST!
Always, always have more than one advert running for an adgroup. This allows you to see which advert is getting the best clicks through rate. You can then change the lower performing adverts and try to beat your best one. You will soon find that you have some very effective adverts.
However to test properly, you need to set the adverts to rotate evenly. This is set in the campaign settings. In the ad serving option under the advanced settings, make sure you select the radio button for Rotate: Show ads more evenly.

Google Pay Per Click: Making Money With Adwords
Sep 1st
AdWords is Google’s answer to helping people get their ads out and increasing their website sales with heavily targeted traffic. This article will give you a big head start over most.
This is a PPC ( Pay Per Click ) system. You only pay for advertising when an interested person sees your AdWords ad and clicks on it. The amount you pay per click is dependent on many factors.
Some of the factors that go toward deciding the price per click are:
1. The amount of competition bidding on that keyword.
2. The site value that Google may give your site.
3. The amount of clicks on your ad itself compared to the amount of exposures your ad receives (CTR),
Even though a keyword may start at a high price per click, its popularity will bring the price down. Popularity is the result of people using Google to search a term or phrase and choosing your ad. As your Click Thru Rate (CTR) rises you will see the price per click go down. I’ve had keywords start at over one dollar and fall to about five cents a click.
Some tips to lift your your CTR and thus lower your PPC (Price Per Click) are:
1. Use the keywords that you are bidding on heavily in your ad.
This will make the keywords in your ad show in bold and stand out when someone does a search on Google using your keyword.
2. Encasing your keywords in [square brackets} or the use of "talking marks" will ensure your ad relates to what is being searched. Without the [square brackets} or "talking marks" around your keywords, your keywords will cover a larger unrelated area giving your ads more exposure but less clicks. This will force down your CTR (Click Thur Rate) and force your price per click up. Not a good thing.
3. The use of negative keywords. Negative keywords really bugged me because I read all about them and their use but didn't know what they were, the articles never actually explained what or how to make them. Just that it was the thing to do.
Negative keywords: if you were looking for people searching for the keyword "pink" but don't want people who are searching for "light pink" then you would ad the negative keyword -light to your list of AdWords keywords the same way as you add the keywords you are bidding on.
Did you notice the minus sign (-) next to the keyword above? Here it is again, -light. You put in as many negative words as you can think of to narrow down searchers to the ones you want.
4. With AdWords you can go locally or globally. You can limit your ad to only viewers in a particular city, state or country. If you live in New York City selling meat pies, then you may not want to sell them to china. Limiting your ad to a specific location, country and language will increase the likely-hood of great targeted traffic clicking your ad and bringing the average price of your clicks down.
With AdWords your aim is to get highly targeted cheap traffic to your website and to make sure you are profiting from the use of AdWords. To see if you are profiting you have to answer these questions:
A. How many clicks does it take to get one sale?
B. How much do I profit from one sale?
Divide A by B to see if you are in profit using AdWords or losing money! If you are in profit great, if you are losing money your keywords, negative keywords and your ad need more fine tuning or changing. You may even have to reconsider what you are trying to sell or your sales copy. A customer follow-up auto-responder will help improve copy sales. People don't often buy the first time they see a website, but you are off to a much better start then most.
AdWords gives us the ability to give people what they are searching for and to profit from that service. Start slowly with a small daily budget and have fun.
The opposite side of the AdWords coin is AdSense. For more information see my AdSense article. Read on:

Mastering Google AdWords
Aug 31st
Many people think that Google AdWords is simple: you create ads, your ads appear on Google (and content sites), and you attract customers to your website or affiliate link. I am hear to tell you that it is not that simple. Building a website for PPC is a much different process than building a search engine optimized website. Although a profitable website should be balanced to function well for PPC and SEO, since with PPC you’re spending your hard earned money on traffic, you need to make sure that your web design is achieving results.
However, if you can understand Google AdWords (and really master it), you can achieve that best targeted traffic in the world and have the greatest control out of any other advertising source on the market today. It is my goal to teach you to master this difficult task in this chapter, so you can prevent making the same mistakes 99% of internet marketers make when they start out.
Introduction to Google AdWords
Before you get started, you need to know the nature of a Google AdWords campaign. First, and I know that what I am going to say might be controversial, Google AdWords is NOT Pay Per Click. At one time, it was Pay Per Click, but Google has made significant changes to its system in the past few years.
The reason Google is not Pay Per Click is because the prices you pay are not directly related to a set amount or what others are paying, but rather the amount of traffic you actually send to your website. In other words, you could be paying $0.50 cents per click one day (for maybe 10 visitors per day) or $0.10 cents another (for maybe 500 visitors per day). Basically, you’re not paying per click, per say, but per 1,000 impressions. This is called Cost Per Mille (CPM).
The amount of clicks and impressions your ad gets do not solely determine your cost per click, however. Google determines the price you pay with a technology called a Quality Score. Not only does it affect the price you pay, but it also effects the position of your ads and the amount of impressions people see your ads. The quality score is made of the following elements (and in my experience, in the following order):
Your keyword’s Clickthrough Rate (CTR)
The more people that click on your ad, the lower you’re going to pay per click. If you are targeting a specific keyword, you should get your CTR up in the beginning, even if that means going outside your budget a little, so that you’re cost per click will stay low. This is important so that Google trusts your “relevancy”.
Your daily budget
Believe it or not, having a low daily budget will result in a high cost per click. Sometimes, when I’m first starting out on a campaign, I will change my daily budget to $1,000 in an effort to get lower prices on clicks. I know that I will never reach $1,000 dollars because the keywords I bid on are pretty targeted, but I always watch my AdWords account all day long in the beginning.
The relevance of the keyword and ad text to its ad group
This is one of the most important things, because it is directly related to your CTR. Your keywords need to me directly related to your ad text and each relevant keyword or set of keywords should be organized into their own ad groups. This is the number one mistake internet marketer’s first make, you must separate all of your ads into groups. Google will initially charge you more per click if it knows by past performance of the keyword that it will fail with the ad/keyword arrangement.
Your landing page quality
Finally, your landing page does make a significant impact on your CPC. The days of throwing AdWords on Google straight to sales pages are over, you need to have a content driven website or you will not survive at this business. Even a small articles section will make a huge impact on your CPC.
Now, if you dive into Google AdWords right now with no experience whatsoever, you will most likely loose thousands of dollars, trust me, I made the same mistakes everyone else had in the beginning and I’d like to give you some tips to ensure that you don’t go broke.
Not having a keyword appropriate display URL
In Google AdWords, there are two URLs: the display URL and the hyperlink URL. The display URL is restricted to a small length and can be any URL of your choice (even if it’s not the same one you are using to send the user to). The problem is that most people simple type in “www.yourdomain.com”, which is common sense to do. However, by doing this, they are missing out on some valuable advertising space. Remember, Google will bold keywords in your advertisement that the user searched for, so you need to have the keyword scattered in as many spots as possible. So, instead type “yoursite.com/YourKeyword” or “Keyword.yoursite.com”. Also, remember to remove the “www” because it is not necessary and also capitalize beginnings of words in a phrase or domain name.
Not separating Google Search Advertisements from those on the Content Network
You need to have an entirely different campaign for advertisements that are used on the Content Network (a.k.a AdSense). You should also bid differently on the Content Network than you would on the Search Network. Unlike the Search Network, the Content Network does not place relevancy based on your quality score, rather, what content is on your website.
Not turning Optimized Ad Serving off
Google, by default, will serve your ads using their algorithm so that you maintain your budget and not run through all of your money all at once. Although it’s beneficial, because it automatically determines the effectiveness on how their served, it’s a better idea to turn the option off so that you can make the decision yourself. Remember, Google is trying to make money, that is their bottom line.
Not organizing your keywords into Ad Groups
This is the mistake most people make. By default, Google creates one campaign with one Ad Group and all of your keywords go into that one Ad Group. The problem you are not able to stay organized so your ads are created to be vague enough to work with every keyword BAD IDEA! I recommend having hundreds of Ad Groups if you have to, so that your advertisement is as targeted as possible. This will lower your CPC, lift your Quality Score, increase your CTR, and hopefully increase your conversion rate.
Not split-testing your advertisements
Create two advertisements for every Ad Group. Google will automatically rotate them and choose the one that performs best. Continue to change out your lower performing ad for a one better than your higher performing ad until you achieve the results you’re looking for. You can also turn this ad serving capability off and rotate 50% of the time and you can almost instantly see which one performs better.
Not using negative keywords
Negative keywords allow you to not show your ad when the negative keyword is in the search phrase. This is important when you want to weed out disqualifiers, such as “free”.
Not having a relevant website
So many beginners think they can create an ad, set up a page to collect e-mail addresses or make a quick sale, and throw AdWords money at the website and make an income off of it. If you do this, Google will penalize you almost immediately In fact, if you do not have relevant content on your website, good luck getting that past Google because in my experience it ALWAYS lowers your Quality Score. Even though you’re selling a product, it is very important to have a website full of quality content that people want to read. This could be fixed by creating a blog on your website that is free and full of great articles. Just make sure it’s updated frequently!
Allowing the campaign to continue when you’re not making money
If you’re product costs $20, spending more than $20 on one Ad Group is causing you a significant loss. Keep your conversion rates high by fixing what breaks quickly. Remember, you could go through a significant amount of money before profits begin to rake in.
Not split testing your website content
It’s amazing how much a headline can make an impact on a sale. Use Google’s Website Optimizer and randomly change content throughout your sales page to get the best conversion rate.
Finally, the last mistake is giving up
So many beginners quit because they don’t understand what they’re doing and they’re loosing a ton of money. Don’t quit, just ask for help!

Google supplies excellent resources on The Dos and The Don’ts of Adsense as well as very comprehensive tutorials on how to set up and use Adsense.
What I love about Bolger is that once you plug in the Adsense code into your main template, a new page is created and Adsense is automatically displayed when you make a post. The first Google Adsense tool you need to check out is your Google Adsense channels. Housewives, retirees, mom and dads, and others that have never made a dime on the internet have created full-time incomes by simply placing Google Adsense ads on their web sites or blog. Let’s try to probe into Google Adsense, for more detail go to: www.instant-adsense-dollars.com.so you would know how it could help you in your affiliate marketing program.
Use Adsense, affiliate marketing, pay per lead ads, & more to generate revenue. With affiliate ads, as opposed to, say, Google Adsense, income depends on your readers actually purchasing the product. I ran Adsense on my sites for over a year before I discovered these techniques, and like many people, I though I was doing pretty well. Made for Adsense (CS Monitor Article) That article made it appear that the entire Adsense program was a huge underground economy, when in fact that program made it truly viable for legitimate publishers of niche content to do very well for themselves for the first time.
Google Adsense – this is my personal favorite. This is not one of those get-rich-quick schemes and Google’s Adsense success is largely thanks to the fact that Google already enjoyed a fantastic reputation before introducing the program. The chances that someone will visit your site and click on your Adsense ads will increase. Adsense will automatically generate ads related to your topic and advertise these on your site.
And finally, if they click on an Adsense ad you make money. (More details are on the Adsense Decoded site here, so I will just give you a run down of the video lessons as an overview. It is still wise to look at other people’s information and format your Adsense in a like manner. Blog sites like Bolger (owned by Google) even encourages you to use the “Adsense code” in your Blogs.
This HTML code can contain the “Ignore ” trade, which keeps Google Adsense from using keywords in the specific section of the website when choosing ads for you. They can use them to promote their affiliate marketing business, or they can place Google Adsense ads right into the text.
How to Earn Money Using Google Adwords – Tricks and Tips
Aug 29th
Do you want to know how to earn money using Google Adwords? Using Google Adwords is easily one of the best things you can do for your online business. Below are some need to know techniques that will help ensure your success.
A) The Money Making Process
With each new Internet user comes a new potential prospect to advertise your services or products to. Never in the history of advertising has there been such an effective marketing tool as Google Adwords. Why is this? Two words.
Instant Advertising.
Google Adwords makes it very easy for you to get your ad campaign up and running. Once you have decided what product or service to advertise, all that remains is setting up your Adwords account. Only a few clicks later, and bang…millions of potential prospects will instantly see your ad.
B) How To Make A Buck Or Two
When learning how to earn money using Google Adwords, it’s important to realize the need to drive highly targeted traffic to your site. Adwords is a perfect advertising tool for this.
What techniques must you learn to master when writing a Google ad?
* The headline must grab the attention of your prospect
* The remaining ad lines must quickly describe product benefits and create a call to action
* The url (domain) name should be related to your business or product
If you can make these 3 things work together, then you’ll have a good ad. Over time, you’ll learn to adjust certain words to create a higher click through rate (CTR), which is the percentage of people who click on your ad when they search for the keyword or keywords that your ad is optimized for.
The higher the CTR, the less you will be able to pay for your Google ads.
Before you write your ad you must think as a consumer, NOT a seller. Ask yourself these questions:
* What keywords will my prospects be using to search for my product?
* How much will they be willing to pay?
* What kinds of benefits are they looking for in a product?
Answering these questions before you write your ads is very important. This will allow you to predict the mindset of your buyer which can save you lots of time and money.
C) The Ultimate Objective
When mastering the art of how to earn money using Google Adwords it’s important not to lose sight of the two most basic elements:
* Write a good ad that people will click on
* Make sure your landing page both excites the prospect to buy and matches the ad you have written.
Most Google Adwords newbies forget to make sure that their sales page matches the ad that precedes it. What does this mean?
Basically, make an effort to see that the page you direct people to naturally corresponds with the ad description buyers will click on. Don’t write an ad about improving your golf swing and then send them to a sales page for discount golf clubs.
Ultimately your online success will come down to you marketing your product or opportunity effectively.
The key to success will absolutely be your ability to flood your site with targeted traffic.
