There are several components that make up how site visitors view our content.
1. There’s the information itself–if we don’t do a good job of explaining why the product we’re selling is beneficial, our prospects will probably look elsewhere.
2. There’s the way our content appears on a landing page. When someone hits an obnoxious web page, complete with flashing lights and clanging bells, it’s not hard to guess how long they’ll stay!
3. Then there’s the art of placement. We must learn how to put each component of the landing page in the right place for maximum conversion power.
Let’s spend a few minutes looking at each of these variables.
Develop a Way with Words
Why should someone buy the product you’re selling? If you can’t answer that question, you definitely need to regroup! Read your current site content and make sure it lets your prospects know how purchasing the product can make them more money, improve their lives or make them happier.
The secret to writing that kind of content is in knowing the product well. How easy is it to use? How quickly can the buyer expect results? How much additional income can they expect to make? Answer those questions and you’ll hold your readers’ interest. If you can cite your own experience in testimonials, you’ll gain even more credibility.
If you’re not hitting your sales goals, try rewriting your landing page. Break the page into sections and create several versions of each. Mix and match sections and test each combination for conversions. It won’t take long to determine which writing style appeals to your target audience.
Make a Good First Impression
Have someone whose opinion you value go to your landing page. What’s their first impression when they arrive? If their feedback includes the words “noisy, distracting, or hard to read”, you’re due for a redesign!
An affiliate product website doesn’t need to be boring to sell products, but don’t swing to the other end of the spectrum, either. Spend a little time looking at websites you’ve purchased products from. Obviously, there was something about them that appealed to you. As with content, try new colors, fonts and graphics and test different versions of your landing page. You’ll know you’ve found the winning combination when you hit the right conversion ratio!
Everything in Its Place
It really is an art, discovering how people react to the placement of web page components such as contact forms, banners and videos. But that doesn’t mean the average affiliate marketer can’t learn to do it well. All it takes is the willingness to test, tweak, and test again until your target market begins to respond. Again, looking at successful competitors or people you purchase from online can give you clues.
Try putting banners at the bottom of the page. Place your free offer form in the right margin. Insert your video snippets at the beginning of your offer. Then start watching your site traffic and conversion rates. It’s a simple thing to move components around on a webpage. You can even create several versions of your landing page and test to different segments of your list. I think you’re going to be amazed at the results!
Learn to write solid content, or pay someone else to write it for you. Keep your website professional and easy to read. Commit to testing and tweaking until you find the most effective placement for components. Great rewards are in store!

Yes, you have read the title right. It is very easy to turn your webpage to a money extractor like never before. This is made possible by using takeaway selling tactics and in no time, your bank account will get bigger and bigger.
You will have further understanding of this if you know how takeaway selling tactics work. What exactly are these takeaway selling tactics? The basic rule in economics is that when a product is scarce or limited, its value increases. On the other hand, when a certain product is produced in abundance, then its market value decreases. Those who should have been your prospective buyers will later on not buy your product probably because they have forgotten about the offer and even because of the time duration.
Basically, there are three types of takeaways: Limiting the quantity, limiting the time and lastly, limiting the offer.
Limiting the quantity means that you are putting a fixed number of manufactured goods available for sale as if the products will get over after the presented number has been sold. If you want to limit the quantity of your product, you can sell the old stocks that you have at the moment so as to make room for new ones. Also, you can sell just a limited number of products so that you will not saturate the market with just too much of it. These are just a few ways to limit the quantity. Now off to the second type of takeaways.
The second, limiting the time, is offering your products in a certain defined period of time. To make this more effective, you have to set a realistic deadline by not changing that deadline all the time. You may not want to put a deadline on your website like the offer will be ending that very day and then when the customer checks your website again the next day, the offer is still the same. Or say if you put a specific date on your web page as the deadline and on that corresponding day, you move the date further. You should sound as credible and plausible as possible. You have to present it like you really mean what you say in order to make customers believe your offer and to make your website a money extractor.
Lastly, limiting the offer has something to do with limiting the parts of offers like bonuses, premiums, guarantees and prices, to name a few. Once you use these or some of these takeaways, remember to say what you mean. Do not sell 501 products when you just announced that you are only selling 500 because that is just the number of available widgets that you have. This will make you more credible, thus making your website a money extractor.

How To Use Google Adwords To Move Prospects Along The Sales Process

Did you know that 80% of the people who inquire about a product or service usually end up buying from a different company than the one they initially went to first? This fact is important because it says something about how people buy, and that they usually go through a sales process first before buying anything.
And this is no different online. You have to move your buyer through a cycle before expecting to close them on a sale. Even those buyers who buy impulsively go through a cycle of some sort – you just don’t see it. All you see is that they came from nowhere to purchasing your product.
So when advertising on Google Adwords, you have to do the same thing. You have to move your buyer through a process in order to maximize the probability of them buying your product.
Let’s take a look at 4 steps of the Google Adwords sales process below and see how you can integrate them into your Adwords campaign.
STEP 1: Know the objective of your campaign
So what do you want your prospects to do? Do you want them to buy now, or do you want them to signup for your free offer? Even before they clicked on your ad they were involved in a decision making buying process, so when they reach your ad, do you want them to buy – or learn more?
This step is important because not all buyers are the same. And they aren’t the same because you and other businesses in your niche have trained your buyers to behave a certain way when it comes to buying the products in your niche. This is where market research comes into play and before you make your prospect do anything, you should already know their buying behavior in relation to the kind of products that you sell.
STEP 2: Selecting keywords
If this isn’t the most crucial step then I don’t know what is. When creating your Adwords campaign, the kind of keywords that you pick can make or break a sale. At this step, you have to put yourself into the shoes of your buyers and think about the keywords they would use to find your listing.
The majority of the keywords you select at this step will be broad – since most buyers typically aren’t looking for you, they’re looking for a solution to their problem. So almost any relevant person or business will do. But you want to turn their “any relevant person or business” into YOU being the person that can solve their wants and needs.
But you should know that the more broad keywords you select, the more hits you will get from people not looking to buy anything. Not only are these people not looking to buy anything, more than likely they’re not looking to buy anything anytime soon.Â
What you want to go for here in this step of the process is laser targeted keywords that serious people are typing in. There won’t be alot of these keywords, but they will almost always convert better and cost less than broad keywords.
STEP #3: Have a good ad
I could probably go on and on about this mistake but I won’t. You should already know the importance of having a good ad that intices people to click and visit your website. Without a good ad, you won’t get much clicks, and Google may even penalize you too for not having a relevant ad.
Without a high performing ad, you will have an ad that gets alot of impressions and not alot of clicks. With this combination, you will get a low click-through rate. If you have a very low click-through rate, your Adwords ad will be place to the bottom of the list of similar ad – simply because it has been proven to not perform as well as others. So if you want to see immediate effect in your bottom line, improve your ad. It’s well worth it.
STEP 4: Make your landing page good
When users click on your ad, they should reach a page that describes exactly what you stated. Depending on how you run your business, this page should be very informative and related to what they’re searching about – no matter if you use a “pre-sell page”, a “squeeze page”, or lead them to your product page.
A good landing page also plays a part in your overall quality score within your Adwords account, so you should take having a good landing page more seriously also. It’s fine to test multiple landing pages also, but you want one that is most profitable for you, and that ranks well in terms of what Google considers to be a good ad.
Be sure to implement these 4 steps when creating or modifying your Adwords campaign.
