Google SEO Update, Yahoo Update, Bing Fun & Google Local Blunder
Jun 13th
www.SERoundtable.com – This week, I try to get fancier with my video set up and integrate multiple video sources, including my monitor – let’s see how that goes. I posted the Google webmaster report for January. There were rumors Caffeine went live, but it did not. More people are seeing the Google blue Jazz interface. Malware is becoming a bigger and bigger issues. Was there a Yahoo Search update or was it the paid inclusion results being removed? Google’s local business privacy blunder caused some overall concern. Google may return the SEO and web design local pack? Bing says they are slow and recommends you spam Digg or Yahoo Buzz. Microsoft adCenter offered free clicks, well – not really. AdWords tests a CPA lead form and also click to call on mobile phones. Also, most PPCers have participated in bid wars, while most advertisers are not afraid to make changes to their accounts. Finally Googlers were working on New Years and Google animated their logo for Issac Newton. That was this past week at the Search Engine Roundtable. Yahoo Search Direct, Bing Mobile Updates, AdSense Stats & More SEO
Jun 4th
www.SERoundtable.com – This week I do a home produced version of the search engine video recap. I start by documenting a new Google PageRank update and then move on into when is Panda/Farmer hitting Google UK? Google Translate usage can be seen as spam, as I discussed in August of last year. Facebook like buttons won’t hurt your rankings. Yahoo released Search Direct, a new approach at instant results. Bing updated their mobile search interface. Bing has a research paper on page credibility, it is very interesting. I covered how to get into Bing News. Google AdWords added additional location targeting and exclusion capabilities. adCenter had major issues yesterday. Google AdWords study guides went offline over the weekend. Google added AdSense added more earnings reports to the new interface overview page. AdSense is changing the “i” icon to an “AdChoices” icon to be in compliance. NYC is likely blocking Google Images in the classrooms. Finally, Google had a special logo for Harry Houdini yesterday. That was this past week at the Search Engine Roundtable. Yahoo Answers Using Yahoo To Create Website Traffic
Apr 20th
www.misterhomebiz.info Yahoo Answers Using Yahoo To Create Website Traffic. Heres a step-by-step process for using Yahoo Answers to make money ·Sign up for a Yahoo email account that is distinct and separate from your other email accounts. ·At the Yahoo homepage, click on Yahoo Answers. ·Use the Advanced Search feature to find open questions in your field of interest. ·Provide a solid answer that answers the questions and provides valuable content to Yahoo. ·Add the complete URL of an article or blog in the References block at the bottom. ·Answer at least one, but not more than 3 questions per day. Stay away from pointing readers directly to an affiliate sales page in your answers. This will get your Yahoo account deleted asap. I have also noticed that if I get carried away and answer multiple questions the same day, I will end up having my account deleted. Always use a “throw-away” Yahoo ID to post to Yahoo Answers. I made the mistake of posting an answer using my primary email address once—and have regretted it ever since. Also, keep in mind that a well thought out answer will often be selected as the Best Answer, and may receive feature billing on Yahoo. I have also noticed many Yahoo Answers on the homepage of Yahoo, which could potentially send thousands of visitors to your blog or article.

Yahoo Is Delusional, Google Goes Whacky & Really Solid SEO Stuff
Mar 18th
www.SERoundtable.com – In this week’s recap, I kind of give it to Yahoo. They say I am “irresponsible” for saying they are not a search company when their own CEO said that?! Google’s brand search change is out of hand and then they do steaming search results, that’s whack! Google gave real time search a home page and additional features, including inclusion in Google Alerts. Google Maps updated their map review guidelines. Google News made a design change, keeps reverting back to old design. A study shows how important those meta descriptions are in your click through rates. Google & SEOs have one of the best duplicate content and pagination discussions ever. Google gives some deep insights into what makes content unique. GoogleBot was caught crawling from three different IPs. Is Google’s international filter not so national? Finally, there are three known AdWords bugs advertisers should be aware of.
