@RocsLock Dude its common sence if the job is supposed to be a “tank” job but you put all your states in str then DUH its going to do great dmg.. but can it “tank” to its best abilty now? Maybe with a right set-up, BUT i dont think people will have a better mind set than that. they sure didnt for ff11

Just wanted to ask you Rocs: What would you reccomend for a gladiator? I was thinking of just going STRAIGH tank, because I know in end game parties they’re needed for the most part, and tanking is always awesome anyway….but is it possible to make a tank that ALSO deals a lot of damage? If not, I’d just lean towards a tank that can deal decent damage as well. Thoughts? Opinions?

you may think thats alot of dmg for a “tank” job but im sure thats comparing it to ff11 tanks. so far in other videos iv seen other melee jobs are pulling off way more dmg than what i seen in this video

@finalcrest999 Atm it’s soloing guild leves. Group play doesn’t give much XP by comparison. You can be in a group of 12 people, solo an enemy 10 or so levels higher than you and only get 200-300 xp off it. Though SE has stated they want to make group play worthwhile, so expect this to improve.

Question, so I can be an archer and have certain spells like Gravity and Slow??? Or would those spells be much weaker because I am not a mage, and not be worth the combo?

@markdunn 1989 Well he had 90 into STR and only 15 into VIT. I doubt SE was intending on damage being a primary enmity builder but it’s awesome how you can turn it into a dd. Gladiator looks like a pretty fun job but they all do lol

“as a qoute – unoqoute tank, that’s a lot of damage” Maybe SE is intending them to do damage as one of the primary hate builders/holders.
Im glad you showed this vid, gladiator is what i want to make but i was getting weary after watching your other gladiator video, no offence but you were getting hit hard and looked not to bueno at solo’ing.

@TheModerNizer I played Conjuer as my main on beta and I played thaumaturge as well and Con does way more dmg than a Tmt. you can definately tell the difference in your nukes when you swap jobs. Con is pretty much a blm that can heal lol.
